SUNEKOS®
Injectable treatment for hydration, elasticity and improved skin quality.
Sunekos® is an injectable skin treatment combining hyaluronic acid with a specific blend of amino acids. Designed to support the skin's extracellular matrix, it is used to improve hydration, elasticity and the appearance of fine lines while maintaining the natural structure of the face.
-
Sunekos® is an injectable treatment combining hyaluronic acid with amino acids.
Rather than adding traditional volume, it is designed to support the skin's natural processes involved in maintaining collagen and elastin, while improving hydration and overall skin quality.
It can be used across different areas of the face and is particularly useful where fine lines, reduced elasticity and changes in skin quality are the primary concerns.
-
IDEAL FOR
Sunekos® may be suitable for:
Fine lines and wrinkles
Crepey or thin-looking skin
Dehydrated skin
Reduced elasticity
Dull or tired-looking skin
Fine lines around the eyes
Under-eye skin quality
Early signs of ageing
Overall facial skin rejuvenation
Sunekos® can be used across the face as well as the delicate peri-orbital area, allowing the face and under-eyes to be considered as part of the same overall treatment plan.
-
Sunekos® is typically performed as a course of treatments to allow results to develop progressively.
The number and spacing of sessions will depend on the Sunekos® formulation being used, the treatment area and your individual skin.
Maintenance treatments may then be recommended according to your response and longer-term skin goals.
-
At SÔMA SKIN, Sunekos® treatment begins with an assessment of your skin quality, elasticity and the areas you would like to improve.
The product and injection approach are selected according to the treatment area and your individual needs.
Where Profhilo®, polynucleotides or another skin treatment would be better suited to your concerns, this will be discussed during your consultation.
-
An initial course of 2 sessions spaced 4 weeks apart for optimal results.
Maintain as you need with a single session every 3–12 months or as needed.
We will discuss your recommended treatment plan during your consultation.

Results develop progressively throughout your treatment course.
The skin can appear smoother, more hydrated and refreshed, with improvements in the appearance of fine lines, elasticity and overall skin quality developing over time.
Sunekos® is focused on improving the condition of the skin rather than changing facial shape or creating traditional volume. Individual results vary.
-
At SÔMA SKIN, we don't select injectable treatments based solely on what is most popular.
Your skin quality, anatomy and individual concerns are assessed before treatment so we can determine whether Sunekos®, Profhilo®, a polynucleotide or another treatment is most appropriate.
Our focus is on considered treatment plans and subtle improvements that maintain your natural features.
-
Both treatments improve skin quality without adding traditional filler-like volume, but they are suited to slightly different concerns.
Profhilo® is particularly suited to skin that feels dehydrated, less firm or has begun to lose elasticity. Its focus is on deep hydration and improving the overall quality and appearance of the skin.
Sunekos® combines hyaluronic acid with amino acids and may be preferred when fine lines, crepey or thinner-looking skin and loss of elasticity are the main concerns. It can also be particularly useful when treating more delicate areas, including around the eyes.
At SÔMA SKIN, we choose between the two based on your skin quality, treatment area and what you would most like to improve.
For the website, I wouldn't position Sunekos as simply a cheaper/weaker Profhilo alternative. They have different formulations and treatment approaches, which gives you a genuine reason to stock and offer both.
-
Skin boosters and polynucleotides can both be used to improve skin quality, but they work differently and are selected for different concerns.
Skin boosters such as Profhilo® and Sunekos® are particularly useful when the focus is hydration, elasticity, fine lines and improving the overall appearance of the skin. Polynucleotides take a regenerative approach and may be selected where concerns such as texture, skin resilience, delicate under-eye skin or scarring are a greater priority.
For some clients, the treatments can also complement each other as part of a longer-term skin plan.
IS SUNEKOS® RIGHT FOR ME?
If your main concerns are fine lines, dehydration, reduced elasticity or changes in skin quality, Sunekos® may be an appropriate option.
A consultation allows us to assess your skin and determine the most suitable treatment and treatment plan for you.
